Registration for our Fall 2021 session has begun!
We offer a range of classes that introduce the sport of artistic gymnastics and trampoline as well as a new discipline, Ninja. Practicing skills on the vault, bars, beam, floor and trampoline, participants will improve agility and flexibility, gain strength and balance, all while learning a lot of fun skills! The skills learned in a gymnastics class not only prepare an athlete for more dedicated gymnastics training but also provide a solid skill background that can be transferred to almost any sport. All of our classes require a minimum of 3 athletes to run or the class will not be held.
Our competitive teams make up groups ranging from ages 6 to 18. Starting at pre-provincial or pre-competitive and up, we follow the Junior Olympic Program adapted by Gymnastics Canada as well as the FIG Trampoline Program. The competitive season runs from September to the end of August. During this time athletes will compete in Provincial qualifying meets in Nova Scotia as well as occasionally travelling to other provinces to compete. Competitive programs are by invitation only.
Recreational gymnastics is a great way to keep kids both active and interested in physical education. Let our certified instructors take your child on a fun and educational exploration of the sport of gymnastics and trampoline through a mix of games, crafts and physical activities. Coaches will use the CanGym program for gymnastics, which involves beam, bars, floor and vault. We also use the CanJump program that involves trampoline, double mini as well as our tumble track. These programs will help to build a positive “Can Do” attitude and add an exciting addition to the summer! Pre-registration required.
